The children are to read Lost and Found this week and do the worksheets that go along with the story.When they come to the sheet of homework called Tell the True Story,on page 5,have them rewrite the underlined phrase only. They do not have to write a complete sentence.
Plesae work the math sheet with them this weekend because they will have a math test on chapter 2 next Wdenesday. Some are having difficulty with rounding of numbers.
The children are learning many new vocabulary words and some great tips for writing from Sr. Miriam. One of the children asked if I was her side kick.
We will be taking IWOA tests the week of Oct 20th. We went over sample tests so they are familiar with the prcedure. Make sure you tell them to do their best but it isn't graded for their reportcard. They should also know that some of the material has not been taught but we just want to see how much they know so we know what we need to emphasize.
