Brain Hemispheres and Advertising Project.
Students will make a collage of 5 different advertisements that appeal to each side of the brain and 3 advertisements that appeal to both at the same time. Students should be gathering magazine articles throughout the week. The students will be given a rubric for this assignment and it will be due Monday 3/9. We will spend Tuesday 3/3 working on it in class. On Monday 3/9 the students will spend approx 3 minutes presenting their collages and explaining how their ads appeal to the different hemispheres of the brain.

Students will make a collage of 5 different advertisements that appeal to each side of the brain and 3 advertisements that appeal to both at the same time. Students should be gathering magazine articles throughout the week. The students will be given a rubric for this assignment and it will be due Monday 10/13. We will spend Tuesday 10/7 working on it in class. On Monday 10/13 the students will spend approx 3 minutes presenting their collages and explaining how their ads appeal to the different hemispheres of the brain.

On Thursday the students will spend approx 3 minutes presenting their collages and explaining how their ads appeal to the different hemispheres of the brain.

Brain Hemispheres and Advertising Project.
Students will make a collage of 5 different advertisements that appeal to each side of the brain and 3 advertisements that appeal to both at the same time. Students should be gathering magazine articles throughout the week. The students will be given a rubric for this assignment and it will be due Thursday 3/2. We will spend Tuesday 2/27 working on it in class. On Thursday the students will spend approx 3 minutes presenting their collages and explaining how their ads appeal to the different hemispheres of the brain.

Students will take a shoe box or a similar type of box create a "Freud Box." The students will decorate the outside of the box to represent their personality and who they are. The boxes will contain 2 examples of each student's ID, Super Ego, and Ego. The students will present their boxes on 11/22 and 11/28. The project is worth 30pts.
Thursday and Friday will be spent looking at the Great Depression and the New Deal in class.

We will spend Monday 10/3 working on it in class. On Friday the students will spend approx 3 minutes presenting their collages and explaining how their ads appeal to the different hemispheres of the brain.
