Happy summer days! I hope you have enjoyed the first weeks of your vacation and that all has been going well for your and your family. The beginning hasn't been too great weather-wise, but I'm sure you're still able to make the most of the time.
My apologies for not making the original
reading requirements list. However, it is exactly the same as the eighth grade frame, please read three books of your choice from the list posted by Mrs. Spearing. It would also be good for you to read for background, one or two historical novels about colonial days and the Revoluntionary War. You will be required to do book reports on this reading material from the summer. Stay attuned to current events too.
Once again, the stationary list (which I will post) is the same for seventh and eighth grades. Please check it out on the eighth grade notes if you're already shopping. Remember~ space is limited, so, don't purchase "extra" items until you see how much your desk and locker can contain.
