GRADE 8 - Last week you took your music assessment for the first marking period. You will get them back this week. So far they look good. Your copybooks were GREAT. This week you will continue to have class time to work with your group on your music time period. You should be researching information on the music styles, composers and music from books, the folders you were given and the Internet. Please bring a copybook for music class and a pen or pencil to class every week.
GRADE 7 - Last week you will took your music assessment for the first marking period. They will returned to you this week. This week you will begin
your small group project on the Recording INdustry. More information will be provided in class. Please bring your music copybook and pen or pencil to class every week.
GRADE 6 - Your PACKETS were due last WEDNESDAY, Nov. 18th. This is a MAJOR grade for the first marking period. You will get them back very soon. We do not have class this week due to the early dismissal for Thanksgiving. We will have our last practice on Dec. 2nd for the music for the sacrament of Confirmation. Please make sure you have your words with you. Please bring your music copybook to class every week with a pen or pencil. MAke sure you have a rubric in your copybook for the second marking period. Your copybooks were not collected for a grade for the first marking period.
GRADE 5 - Your music assessments will be returned to you as soon as everyone has taken it and I have them all graded. The same for your copybook. I will only see Room 15 this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
GRADE 4 - I will see Room 14 for music class this week but not Room 4 because of the early dismissal. You do not need anything special for music class. We will move back into our Unit work in the grade 4 music book.
SENIOR CHOIR - grades 5, 6, 7 and 8. Practice time is Monday during lunch recess, 12:30 to 12:50 in the music room.
JUNIOR CHOIR - grades 3 and 4. Practice will be on Tuesday at lunch recesss, 12:55 to 1:15 in the music room.
CHORALE meets on Wednesday's at 12:30 to 12:50 for any Senior Choir member in grades 6, 7 or 8. We will not meet this week due to the early dismissal.
CONFIRMATION is on Sat. Dec. 5th at 11:00 All Junior and Senior choir members (except 6th grade) are expected to sing. Be at Our Lady of Grace Church by 10:45.
The JUNIOR and SENIOR CHOIRS HAVE BEEN INVITED TO SING at the Middletown Township building on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9th. More information will be given out.
Information also went home concerning singing at the Trenton (New Jersey) Devil's hockey game, Sunday, Dec. 27th at 4:00. ALL TICKET ORDERS or INFORMATION SHOULD BE DISCUSSED WITH THE HOCKEY TEAM. I DO NOT HAVE TICKETS.
