Scrip is a program where non-profits buy gift cards to participating stores at a discount and sell them at face value to raise funds. A portion of the profit from the sale is then given back to the buyer as a credit toward tuition payment. This credit may be used at the grade school, high school and college level, anywhere the student is required to pay tuition. At SFA, it can be used toward Religious Education registration fees as well.
The goal of our parisch scrip program is to defray parish operating costs while assisting families with educational expenses.

However, BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 2008 only the www.shopwithscrip.com site will be used for ordering.
It is simple and the site allows you to select from hundreds of stores.

Other family members, friends and neighbors can purchase gift cards and have that full percentage applied to your child’s tuition. Just have them use your name when making the purchase. When you are ready to use the credit, simply turn in your receipts to the rectory or school in envelope marked "Scrip Program" along with your email address. A voucher will be emailed to you. Print it, deduct the amount from your payment due and send it in with payment.
If your child attends another school, simply identify the school and ( if you know it)their student ID number, we can send the check directly to the school or send the check for the credit amount to your home.
SFA has a very generous tution credit. Generally, credit is as follows:
Stores listing a 2% credit,SFA share is 0.5%,
Stores 3-5%, SFA share is 1%,
Stores 6-10%, SFA share 2%
Stores over 10%, buyer gets 10%, SFA remainder.

Just a note: You can stretch your scrip further by visiting www.schoolpop.com when shopping online. Just register your email and identify SFA as your school. Then go to tuition share and sign up. Any % listed as given back to the school is then divided 50/50 between SFA and a tuition credit for you. This credit is issued from the site quarterly.
