Hello everyone! We will be posting all information for music class, Glee Club and Children's Choir on this page. Holy Martyrs Music Class News will appear first. Holy Martyrs Music Class News
GRADE 8 STUDENTS: Students in grade 8 have all been given parts for the Christmas show. Some students have dialogue, some have singing parts, some have silent parts. We will be working with everyone in class. Please see the list below as a reminder of which character each student is playing. Costuming for these parts should be as simple as possible (T-shirts, caps, etc.). We have some costumes available for select parts which we will be distributing shortly. Other characters will have to make their costumes. We will let everyone know ASAP if they have to make their costume.

GRADE 7 STUDENTS: Students in grade 7 will be dressing as animals (one student will be a shepherd) for the school Christmas show. Please see the list below as a reminder of which animal each student has chosen to be. Costuming for these parts should be as simple as possible. (T-shirts, caps, etc.) We will be giving suggestions in class.

GRADES 1, 2, 5-8: Students in these grades have been given their lyrics to memorize for this years Christmas show. All students in grades 1, 2, 5-8 should have their lyrics memorized by Wednesday, December 2nd.
GRADES 3, 4, K: Students in these grades now have their lyrics to memorize for this years Christmas show. All students in grades 3, 4, and K should have their lyrics memorized by Thursday, December 3rd.
SCHOOL MASSES: This year, any student in the upper grades who takes instrumental lessons is welcome to play their instrument with us at the school masses. If interested, notify us so that we can prepare parts for you and practice with you a bit before the mass.

SENIOR GLEE CLUB NEWS
SENIOR GLEE CLUB will be rehearsing every Thursday in November except November 26th which is Thanksgiving Day.
SENIOR GLEE CLUB registration for the fall session is now over. All snack fees ($20.00 per member/$35.00 per family)are due at this time. Glee Club registration will open again at the start of our winter/spring session which begins shortly after Christmas break.
DECEMBER SCHEDULE FOR SENIOR GLEE CLUB
WEDNEDSAY, DECEMBER 2ND AT 7:00 P.M. in church - Glee Club will be rehearsing with the parish music ministry in preparation for the parish Advent service that takes place on December 6th.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6TH AT 7:00 P.M. in church - Glee Club sings as part of the Children's Choir at the parish Advent service.
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10TH AT 7:00 p.m. - Glee Club performs at the school Christmas Show.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 13TH AT 10:00 A.M. - Glee Club sings at Breakfast with Santa after the 9:00 a.m. mass.
SUNDAY DECEMBER 20TH AT 9:00 A.M. - Glee Club sings as part of the Children's Choir at the 9:00 a.m. mass. Please arrive by 8:30 in church for warm-up and organization.
THURSDAY DECEMBER 24TH AT 5:00 P.M. Glee Club sings as part of the Children's Choir for Christmas Eve mass. All members should arrive in church by 4:30 p.m. A series of preludes will be sung before the mass.
CHILDREN'S CHOIR NEWS
The CHILDREN'S CHOIR will rehearse from 3:45 until 5:00 on the 1st Thursday of each month and the Thursday preceding our monthly mass.
