Graduation Information:
Thursday and Friday, June 4 and 5, are important school days for eighth graders as we will be planning the Graduation Mass, collecting textbooks and taking care of other essential end of the year requirements. We will also review the final exams and I will hand out the final exam grades. Make-up exams will be given, as necessary. We will also attend the Pre-K Closing, Kindergarten Graduation and help out with Alex's Lemonade Stand.
Graduation rehearsal is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9th. Students should arrive at 8am for a Graduation Breakfast which I will provide, followed by Graduation practice in the church. The Talent Show will be at 11 am.
Graduation will take place at 7pm on Weds., June 10th.
Retreat:
The eighth graders will have a retreat at HMS on Thursday afternoon, May 28th. They will be dismissed at the normal time. The retreat provides the students an opportunity to reflect on their Christian values as they anticipate making the transition to high school in the next school year. Before the retreat day, please write a letter to your child, communicating your thoughts, guidance, and encouragement as he or she takes this important step in growing up. I will hand out the letters to the students for them to read at the retreat. Please send this letter into school in a selaed envelope by Wednesday, May 27th. Thank you for all your help with making this a meaningful day for the eighth graders.
