Religion---learn about God the Son as well as the Sacraments of Healing which are Reconciliation and the Annointing of the Sick.
Science---we will learn about work, force and simple machines, such as the lever, pulley, incline plane, and the wedge. We will also learn about complex machines and understand how simple machines can be combined to make work easier.
Math---practice subtracting 3 and 4 digit numbers with and without regrouping, subtraction across zeros, and to check our work using addition. This way we are practicing 2 importatn skills at once. We will continue multiplication and problem solving, as well as begin division.
Social Studies---learning about the Iroquois and the Hopi tribes and the way they adapted to their environment to meet their needs. Project---build both a Hopi and an Iroquois village.
Writing---write both paragraphs that contrast and compare.
