Kindergarten Closing Ceremony: The kindergarten closing ceremony will be Friday, June 5th, at 11:00, in Saint Joseph Church. Please drop off your child at 10:45 in the school lobby and parents should go directly to the church. Your children are to wear their Sunday best clothes, not their uniforms. Light refreshments will be available in the cafeteria after the program.
Kindergarten Fun Day: Kindergarten Fun Day will be on Wednesday, 6/3. Please have your child wear their sneakers, socks, and gym uniforms.
Mystery Box: Thomas took home the Mystery Box. He brought in Eagle Ray for the letter Ee. Thomas did a great job giving clues and drawing his picture!
Over the summer, please continue to practice reading, writing, math, tying, zippering, and buttoning, plus learning their telephone numbers, and address. Also, if you don’t already, you may want to consider starting an early regular bedtime routine, to insure that they will be rested enough for 1st grade. It may help in making the transitioning a little easier.
It has been a wonderful school. I will truly miss all of your children. Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered and sent in items. I really do appreciate all that you have done.
