Welcome to second grade and 2J. The students are off to a great start and we are all enjoying getting to know each other. We read a great book called Doc Stops a War, which tells the story of animals standed on an island together during a flood. The animals decide they must work together, respect and appreciate each other and use their individual talents to work paw in paw. We have made our classroom that island. The students and I decided what rules we should have in the classroom and put our handprints on our chart vowing to work hand in hand.
Our special area classes are from 2:30-3:15.
Monday we go to library. Tuesday we have physical education.Wednesday is guidance and will be our rotation day. Thursday is art class and music is on Fridays.
I hope to meet you all in the near future and form a strong partnership to make this a successful year!
