Mathematics:

Homework: Practcie 2 and 3 times tables for quiz on Thursday. Cut out and practice square times table facts (Discovery Assignment Book p. 57)

Tues. - Predictions from Graphs - Students will read, interpret, and draw conclusions from Olympic data-based graphs. Students will begin analyizing a best-fit line and learn the difference between interpolation and extrapolation.

Wed. - Continue analyzing and making best-fit lies through the use of six different graphs on Discovery Assignment Book pages 59-64.

Thurs. - Students will learn how to find and calculate "the mean" average, first using a concrete model of building blocks before being exposed to the division algorithim. Students will be reminded of median and distinguish between the two types of averages.

Fr. - Field Trip - 1/2 day - No math classes
