Important Classroom Information for 2008-2009 School Year:
1. It is currently the middle of July; if you have not started your summer reading/work, you need to start ASAP.
2. If you have any questions about your summer work, please email me at either ssumulong@colonial.k12.de.us or stephanie.sumulong@gmail.com. Do not wait until the last few days before school starts to ask questions or begin work on the assignments.
3. Everyone must be prepared to submit their summer assignments on the first day of school. Any student not prepared will be removed from the course.
4. If you are contemplating dropping this course it is imperative that you speak with your counselor immediately. Students in AP courses are not allowed to drop them once the school year has begun, unless they have not completed their summer work. The counselors and administrators are currently working on the master schedule for the school year; the sooner you speak with your counselor, the easier it will be to fix your schedule now rather than 2 or 3 weeks into the school year. Again, contact me if you have any questions about this.
5. Those of you who left email addresses with me were sent an email in June that explained there would be NO summer parent-student meetings. Please check your email for further information. If you changed your email address, please contact me so that I can update my list.
6. I'll see everyone on August 20th. Continue to have a good summer.
