7TH GRADEVOCAB - MIDTERM FOE VOCAB UNITS 1-5 IS ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4TH...STUDENTS WERE GIVEN A STUDY GUIDE THIS PAST WEEK.
7TH GRADE HISTORY - STUDENTS WILL BE GIVEN A TAKE-HOME TEST ON CHAPTER 3 ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25TH. THIS ASSIGNMENT IS DUE BACK ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 1ST...WITH THE ONLY EXCEPTION BEING AN ABSENCE!!!
***REMEMBER, ANY DAY IS A GREAT DAY FOR A QUIZ!!!
7th Grade history - This week we finish coverage of chapter 3 with a review.
***students were shown how to write a formal outline in order to improve upon study skills for history.
***IF STUDENTS DO NOT HAVE WRITTEN HOMEWORK IN HISTORY, THEY SHOULD STILL BE STUDYING AT LEAST 10 MINUTES PER NIGHT. THERE IS A GREAT DEAL OF MEMORIZATION INVOLVED IN HISTORY.
7th Grade Vocab - Unit 6 is due on Tuesday, 12/09/08. The test for UNIT 6 is Thursday, 12/11/08. The writing assignment will be announced in class.
***Vocab assignments will follow a bi-weekly schedule unless there is a day off or a shortened full day.
7th Grade ILA - We will begin section II on verbs this week.
7th Grade Literature - Will begin "Autobiographies"
after break.
8th Grade Vocab - Unit 6 is due on Tuesday, 12/09/08. The test for unit 6 will be on Thursday, 12/11/08. The writing assignment for this unit will be announced in class.
