Your child should have his/her social studies book and science book home this weekend. We have a quiz on the vocab. words in the first two lessons in Social Studies CH 1 on Monday. I've been telling the class that they would be having a surprise quiz on the vocab. for the last week or so, but apparently not too many students were studying for it. We'll take the quiz again on Monday. We have a chapter test in Science on Tuesday.
I handed out directions today for a poster project--topic protecting ecosystems-- that is due on Monday, May 4. The thee questions on the direction paper need to be answered also.
The Winn-Dixie book report mobiles turned out well. They look great hanging up in the classroom. The grades for those will be included in the progress reports.
