8th Grade Exam Schedule
May 13 - Math and Religion
May 14 - Continue Math and Spanish
May 15 - Continue Spanish and ILA
May 18 - Continue ILA and Science
May 19 - Social Studies and Make-Ups
Classes will continue after exams and all assignments will be graded.
Term papers should be written and be ready to start typing.Study Skills classes are devoted to working on the term paper and receiving extra math help. Students should be making good use of their time during this period and not wasting a good oppertunity to do work.
8th Grade Math
We are currently working on equations with more than one operation and will be adding equations with grouping symbols. All examples from class should be in the student copybook so that they can refer to them when they are at home during that night's assignment. It is important that studying be done each and every night so that the material will be familiar when exam time comes.We will be having a test the week of May 4th.
7th Grade math
This class is currently working on Fractions. This week we will be starting multiplication and Division of fractions and mixed numbers. Homework is assigned daily and it is important that it be completed each njght. All class examples should be in the copybook to refer to.
8th Grade Religion
We are studying the beginnings of the early church and the important people of that time. It is important to study nightly so as to be prepared for the following day's discussion.During the month of May we will be discussing the Blessed Mother and some important apparitions. Remember any day is a good day for a quiz.
7th Grade Religion
We are currently working on how Jesus sent his apostles out to continue his work. The 7th grade has a project due on May 8th. Topic is The Land Where Jesus Lived. This poster should contain the geographic features as well as all important places where Jesus and the disciples traveled. Poster should have a 3D effect to it.Students may work alone or with a partner.All work will be done outside of class. Remember to study daily. Exams are approaching.
