Dear Parents,

UPCOMING TESTS AND QUIZZES:  Grades 7 and 8
UNIT 6 VOCABULARY TEST: Thurday, December 4.
NOVEMBER Book Reports Due: Tuesday, Dec. 2

Students have had a busy week.  They have begun working on their Thanksgiving Project (due Tuesday, Nov.25; ask to see the paper with the requirements.)
Most of the work has been done during class, but some typing must be done outside of school.

They also took a major Grammar test today on adjectives.  We will begin studying about Verbs when we return from Thanksgiving Break.

Both classes achieved their first goal for the "Be A Gem" incentive project.  They received a small treat.

Please remind your children of the necessity of having all books, pens, looseleaf paper etc. for class. Some students are getting careless, forgetting their things or just not having supplies.  These problems take away from their learning experience.  The Middle School teachers have all agreed that by this time in the school year, Middle School students should be in a good routine and not have to go back to their classrooms for anything.  Please remind your students of this.

Please make a habit of checking your child's homework assignment book and even their actual homework.  Sometimes the young people take shortcuts and do not complete their work correctly. We are trying to teach responsibility as a preparation for high school and life. We appreciate your support.

              Thank you.

              Have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

                            Mrs. Fisher
