Students are wrapping up their picture story books, and we are getting ready to start our final book project. Students will be creating a magazine or comic book. These will include advertising and articles based on the theme of their magazine. This project should take us through the spring break. When we return we will begin to work on our last unit related to the design of posters.
Essentials of Business
We are currently working on the major project for the 3rd trimester. The students have selected a green technology that the will research and create a powerpoint and a report both of which will address the history, current status and possible future of their selected technology. When they are finished they will create a simple business and marketing plan for a product based on the tecnology they researched.
Business Information Technology II
Period 2: This class is completing a project similar too the Essentials of business class except that they are going to create more detailed business and marketing plans.
Period 4: Is engaged in a research project related to technology at CCHS. We have identified some needs and the students are engaged in a search for grants that the school can apply for to enhance the quality or quantity of technology we have at the school. They will finish by writing a grant and we hope to apply for and receive some if not all of the grants we apply for.
