About The Teacher
I have taught first grade in Prince William County since 1996. I taught at George Tyler Elementary, in Gainesville, VA, from 1996-1998. I helped open Bristow Run Elementary in 1998 and continue to teach there today. This will be my 13th year of teaching first grade.
Class Demographics
We currently have 22 students in the class. There are 13 boys and 9 girls.
Homework
Students are required to read 10-15 minutes each night. Books may be from their reading bag, their library books or books at home. Please initial
their calendar every night to show that you saw what behavior color they were that day and that your child completed their nightly reading.
Math assignments/games will be sent home Monday through Thursday. No math homework will be assigned during the weekend or on holiday breaks. Please look for it in their folder.
