Thank you all for a great year! I am going to miss the students. It was really a great group this year, one that had a lot of personality but also worked hard. The parents have been very supportive in the education of their children. I am very thankful for a good first year.
The students got their supply lists and summer reading lists from their third grade teachers. I gave out the report cards and the Terra Nova results. Please let me know if you have any questions about any of that. The most common issue on the report card that may bring up the most questions is a lower grade in reading effort, which is mainly due to not reporting enough reading at home and is really easy to rectify. If there are any other issues, or any questions about deciphering the Terra Nova results, go ahead and let me know.
Also please let me know if anything has been left behind in the classroom. There are still a few sweatpants/shirts and sweaters that have not been claimed by any kids, for example. I will be here tomorrow and Wednesday as well.
Congratulations on moving up to third great. Thank you for a great year. Have a fantastic summer!
