Thanks to Mrs. Boyd and Mrs. Orie for an absolutely fabulous two days. All their work for Medieval Day and the End of the Year picnic was really appreciated by all the students and their teachers.
Thank you most especially to Mrs. Kurtis who really makes 6th grade a great place to teach and learn. I know I will miss my partner and you will miss your teacher when we move to Junior High.
Thank you to all of the wonderful parents who came in to help on Medieval Day and on Friday. We could not have done Medieval Day without all of your help, especially all your delicious cooking. Mr. Anthony, our parish Youth Minister, spent his whole day with us helping at various stations. His assistance was invaluable.
Thanks also to those of you who rememberd the First Friday Food Pantry

Moving up day highlights
* Monday is a Dress up day - no jeans, sweaters for Mass if girls have sleeveless dresses, skirts must be an appropriate length.
* Report cards will be given to the students as they move up to 7th grade. All report cards for students not in school at that time will be mailed home.
*There are some yearbooks available for purchase in the office for $22.00 for anyone who did not purchase one earlier.
Have a wonderful summer. Rest and enjoy yourselves. I am looking forward to seeing many of your in the fall. I will miss the 6th grade, but we will have an adventure together in Junior High. There are not many classes that I would want to teach for three years in a row, but I'm glad that you are the class for my big move. By the time you graduate, I will have taught some of you four different times! God bless all of you.
Love, Mrs. Young
