We have just finished up our round of winter assessments. Students took their FAST 2 assessments at the beginning of January and finished up last week with their SRI assessments.
Last week students received small squares of paper with their FAST 2 scores as well as the areas of the assessment that they need to work on to prepare for the upcoming MSA assessments. Please encourage your child to use study island to work on these skills in order to improve their understanding and continue to grow academically on their assessments.
Additionally, students were told their current Lexile Level based on their SRI assessments. A paper with that score will be coming home soon. Please encourage your child to read books that are on or around their Lexile Level. You can check out lexile levels at www.lexile.com. The students are familiar with this website.
