Physical Education
Grades 3-4-5-6 have started their Tennis Skills Unit while students in grades k-2 are working on their striking skills.
Field Day this year has been set for Wednesday, June 4, 2008 for students in grades k-5. If you would like to volunteer to help on field day please call Mrs. Albert at 301-572-0640.
On Tuesday, June 27, 2008 participants in the Jump Rope for heart will have a thank you Make Your Own Sundae Party. Permission slips have already been distributed.
Wednesday, June 28, 2008 the Patrols will have their Make Your Own Sundae Party. Permssion slips have already been distributed.
The following grading procedure will be utilized in PE to determine your child's grade.
60% Participation 20% Skill Development 20% Knowledge
To maintain safe and active participation for your child during PE class, students should wear TENNIS SHOES. Students may change from boots etc., into their tennis shoes during PE class.
Students should dress appropriately for Physical Education. This includes wearing belts when necessary. Girls should wear shorts or long pants underneath skirts or dresses.
