Welcome to Mrs. Freeman's Web Page!

***No special letter of the week. Children attend just 2 days this week.

***We will have a mini-Thanksgiving celebration with a Pre K class (the teacher is Mrs. Steffanie Hernandez). We will create and wear Indian feather headbands and bring Indiana Kettle Gourmet Popcorn (lightly salted and sweetened - best popcorn you ever ate!). The Pre-Kindergartners will provide either apples or apple juice. We will discuss things and people for whom we are thankful.

**Sign the new ORANGE November Reading/Math calendar nightly. If we get 100% this month we will have a pizza party top celebrate!

***In Math we have begun chapter 6 with emphasis on measurement. Children should be able to write, read, and count 0-31 objects now.

**Reading Groups meet daily. We are rocking and rolling in reading. Keeping our little ones challenged is my goal.

NO Flip flops, PLEASE. Two children fell on the stairs last year.

1. Children MUST wear sneakers daily. If they choose to wear boots to school, they need to carry sneakers in their book bag for PE class. We have begun a dance unit.
2. Homework assignments are stapled inside the black and white composition book. They are due each Friday Children are rewarded with a small prize for completion of the previous 7 days of work assigned.

3.  The Scoop Newsletter is sent home the first day of each school week  Graded papers come home in the red pocket folder. Remove the graded papers and the weekly newsletter.

4. Papers with a bumblebee drawn on them by the teacher, demonstrate superior work. Bring back bumblebee papers for a tiny prize.

5. Parents are asked to bring money directly to the cafeteria to place money in their child's account.
