ANNOUNCEMENTS
NOTE:
*Students will recieve Progress Reports for the
third quarter this week.
*RECYCLING - All of our Laurel High School Community
can STILL recycle white paper,newspapers, shopping
catalogs,junk mail and magazines. We have ON
CAMPUS a Recycling Bin, called the GOLD & GREEN
ABITIBI PAPER RETRIEVER. All of my classes have been
asked to recycle, my environmental students are
required to recycle for a grade. We invite the
whole school body and community to join us. One bin
is located on the cafeteria side of the campus and
several large gray bins that can take cardboard are
inside the building in my classroom(164) and several
other locations.
ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Several field studies(Trips) have been scheduled for my environmental science classes. Lessons in our National Parks are a part of our curriculum. It gives our students an opportunity to have a hands on experience with parts of our environment. Bridging the Watershed pays for the trips and our students only have to pack and bring their own lunch. Lunch is not available in the Parks and stops will not be made to pick up lunch.

- Students should have completed their Water Audit and
a graph showing their class' water usage.
- Current Science News Articles for March with the
proper format are due before March 30th.
- Bring proper attitude and required materials daily
- Notebook checks will be random and soon.

Periods 2A and 3A
NOTE:Tests and quizzes will become more frequent now that May , the month for the High School Assessment Tests, is no longer that far away. Students can prepare for success if they are serious about studying and completing all of their assignments.
