POSTED ON MAY 5, 2008- PLEASE READ
Although I will not return to teaching this year, you should note that the last quarter is used to analyze drama and to practice utilizing testing skills.
-Read LOL, p. 986-987 and define the following terms: aside, allusion, blank verse, foil, comic relief, tragedy, and soliloquy. The terms are located in the back of the book.
- Begin reading Romeo and Juliet (Note various tones within the stage directions and dialogue. Try to list the various tones.)

Parents, please continue to review your child's work. Remember, the grades received during the fourth quarter are being issued by a substitute ---NOT AN ENGLISH TEACHER. The grade may be pleasing, but the skill level may not be up to par; thus, your child may have a difficult year in English 10. Best wishes to all.
