Mod 2- No homework
Mod 4- complete skills and homework worksheet
9-18: No homework for all classes.
9-17-08: ALL CLASSES: Complete Lesson 5 worksheet. Quiz tomorrow for Mods 2 and 4. Mod 1 took the quiz today.
9-4-08: Parents, today each student received their book for class use only. Due to the number of books we have, they will only use them in class and not be able to take them home. If we get more, I will allow them to take their books home. They should have all of their notes in their math notebook (compositiion book) if they need any assistance on homework. Speaking of homework, they will not have any tonight because we did not complete the lesson today. It is a good chance they will have some for the weekend.
9-2-08: Hello All!!! My name is Mr. Carroll and I teach 8th Grade Ramp-Up to Algebra I. Charles Carroll Middle School is now an America's Choice School, and this class is part of it. This class is meant for those students who are at least 2 years below the Algebra level. The course is designed for them to "ramp-up" a lot faster to Algebra in preparation for higher-level math classes in high school. For the first week of school, we went over the Brief Constructed Response packet provided by Prince George's County Public Schools. Today, each student completed a pre-test that shows what they already know and allows me to determine the best way to approach their academic level. Future announcements will include homework, tests, projects, and any other pertinent information needed for this class. If you have any wuestions please feel free to email. Thank you.
