Homework for May 27, 2009

Find the Volume of a cylinder. The formula for finding the volume of a cylinder is V = 3.14 • r² • h (it reads, Volume equals Pi times radius squared times height) if given the diameter, take half of it to find the radius.

9. r= 4 in., h= 8in       10. r= 9ft., h= 16ft

11. r= 2 cm, h= 13.3cm    12. r= 3 1/2in., h= 7 1/2in.

13. Diameter = 1m, h= 1.7 m

14. diameter = 15 mm, h= 4.8mm

The missing assignment packet is due tomorrow, no exceptions. The students have had the packet for 2 weeks. I will not except any packets after tomorrow.
