Welcome back!

I will be continuing to work with your children in the area of mathematics during the 2007-2008 school year. We are now in our second year of implementing the Everyday Mathematics Program. We are very proud of our MSA mathematics scores. Please continue your support in helping us continue this progress.

Virtual Manipulative
Here you will find a wealth of virtual manipulative that help teach basic math concepts. This site also has a link for Teacher/Parents that gives directions for using the activity you have chosen.

Everyday Mathematics Center
Here you will find information to help you become familiar with the program. It includes philosophy alnog with sample games that your children will be playing as a part of the program.

AAA Math
This site is full of activities that help teach basic math skills at various grade levels. It has a section for learning, practicing, and playing a game for each concept developed.

This site has a host of activities to include flashcards for practice with basic facts. It also has a game room to practice math concepts.

Base 10 Blocks
This site can be used to help children understand base ten place value using the virtual manipulative

Time-for-Time
This is an excellent site to help children begin to understand basic time using the analog and digital clock. It also has worksheets that you can downloard to help your child practice the concepts.

Everyday Math for Parents
This site gives program philosophy,  directions for games to play at home, along with a glossary of vocabulary words.
