The children really enjoyed all the opportunities they had last week including listening to the author, Mem Fox, read Where is the Green Sheep?, learning about where Mem comes from, and retelling her silly story of A Particular Cow.
This week we will be learning about Jann Brett. Some of the stories we will be reading include; Berlioz, Town and Country Mouse, and Honey, Honey, Lion!
In math this week we will be finishing up fact families and reviewing the concepts from the year. We will keep the students moving from center to center practicing time, money, addition, subtraction, patterning, and shapes.
In Religion we will be reading the story of the 10 Commandments, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and the Parable of the Seed. We will be creating a book to go along with the story of the seed. This Thursday will also be our last meditation for the year.
