Tuesday June 9: Kindergarten Celebration @ 1:30 in the church.
Kindergarten will present a small program for our families, and receive certificates of Kindergarten Completion.
This will be followed with punch and cookies in the cafeteria.
This is last day of school for Kindergarten.
Wednesday June 10: School's Out For The Summer!

In God's Time: Review some units about the church and the church family. We will be bring our coins up to the poor box in church.
In Language Arts:
Finishing up some materials from "The Land of the Letter People" reading independently and doing assesments with the teachers.
In math the focus will be on addition and subtraction during these next few weeks. As you see the work come home help your children use manipulatives to solve problems and than begin with memorizing their math facts to 10. Once they understand problem solving and the idea of addition and subtraction knowing their facts is an added bonus.
We will continue our lessons on the Oceans of the world and the Chesapeake Bay. They will do a study on Frogs as they are now around and very abundent with all this wet weather.

This is a great time to review telephone numbers, and addresses. Summer is coming with vacations and exciting events. Please be sure you review these important safety skills with your children.
