As a school-based Speech Language Pathologist it is my mission to provide research-based intervention to children who are at risk for speech and language impairments in order to support their learning in the general education setting.
These impairments may include:
articulation: phonological disorders
language: language processing, expressive language,
morphology, syntax, vocabulary, phonological
awareness
fluency: stuttering
voice: velopharyngeal insufficiency, vocal abuse
behavior modification as it impacts education
pragmatics: social skills as it impacts education
