Welcome back to YBES for another great school year!
I am very happy to be back for another year as the full-time physical education teacher in the intermediate building. Mr. Gerald Christian is back as the iterant physical educator as well. He will here at YBES on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Please make sure you read the physical education letter that was sent home, it has detailed information about what is appropriate attire for P.E. class as well as what medical information and documentation we need for your child.
Parents of 4th and 5th graders- We will be issuing the county required Physical Best Fitness Tests two times this year, once in the fall and then once again in the spring. These tests show your child’s current levels of fitness in the various components of fitness. You will be receiving a copy of these scores during the spring time. This is not a contest to see who is best, these are used to show the current level of fitness for your child and no one else will see their scores.
