Daily school supplies:
1. Binder
2. Pencil
3. Paper( of course)
4. Highlighter
5. Calcultor - for now any calculator will do.
Help is available after-school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, please let us know the day before or that morning if the student will stay. Help is also available before school at 6:30am and lunchtime.
Several students are not doing their homework. Students not doing homework, will be given MIRs, minor incident reports,after 3 MIRs, they will be given a referral
Parents,
Several of the students are having probelms staying on task in class. Please talk to your child about staying focused. The class is meant to be student centered, with Mrs. Cabanalan and I acting more as facilitators, this will only work if the students do their part. Unfortunately there is a lot of reading and some of the students do not want to do that. Success in the class depends on their involvment in class. Please encourage them to get involved. When doing their homework make sure they are highlighting the important facts in the problem.
