Students have a long term assignment involving writing a summary on technology articles they have read. Students should click on the link titled Marley Middle above on this website. This link will take students to the website created by the teacher. Students should scroll down the page and click a link titled technology newspaper. Students are required to find an interesting title about technology to read online. Students have practiced going to the website in class.
The student should write the name of the article, the date of the article and write a short summary describing the article. Students must read two different articles,state the date of the article and write a summary on each by the second week of January.
A handout has been given in class to help students organize their ideas. This activity should begin by the fourth week of October. Second semester, the assignment should be covered by the end of March.
