Hello Students and parents. This is a website intended for the students of Mr. Bardell and Mrs. Finan's Honors Algebra II Classes here at Chesapeake High School. Before we start here are a few disclaimers:
1) Our two classes are not identical so be sure to contact the appropriate teacher if you have a question.
2) While this website is here as a resource, all information provided here will be given in class as well, and it is expected that regardless of whether or not this website has been updated all information and assignments will be completed on time.

Seeing Math This Website is awesome! It provides numerous computer graphing tools so students can graph at home and see problems visually while they work. Highly recommended.
Math Dictionary Forgotten some basic math terms (or never knew them :) )? This site will answer your question as to the meaning of over 500 words, as well as provide interactive examples as to their meanings.
WebMath.com A great site for Homework help and examples on the majority of problems seen in Algebra 2.
Anne Arundel County Public Libraries This link will lead you to the Anne Arundel County Library website. The library offers homework assistance and a book for every type of reader! If you go let us know what books you have been reading this semester.
Visual Fractions Need help with fractions? Doesn't everyone? Go to this website to get a better visual handle on fractions through playing various games.
National Library of Virtual Manipulatives A great resource for students who need to see what is going on with abstract algebra concepts. Manipulatives are visuals that demonstrate algebraic concepts. Give this website a try if your a visual learner struggling with a concept or two.
Algebra.com While this site has some paid sections it has a great library of over 500 solved Algebra 2 problems in almost any subtopic. Great for seeing examples to help with homework.
Math.com This site is loaded with links. BE AWARE SOME OF THEM COST MONEY. That said their are a number of great resources here. If you are looking for a paid interactive Algebra 2 helper this site will provide a few links.
Shodor Interactive Activities While geared to Middle Schoolers this site has an amazing number of tools for the learner struggling with Lines and Functions.The next three links were all pulled from the website above and there are even more resources to find if you will simply click. This site features games in the following categories: number and operation concepts, geometry and measurement concepts, function and algebra concepts, and probability and data analysis concepts.
Slope Slider This activity allows the manipulation of a linear functions and encourages the user to explore the relationship between slope and y intercept on the coordinate grid system.
Function Flyer A more advanced version of Slope Slider. This tool allows teh user to see how a function changes when slope, y intercept, or both are changed.
Graph Sketcher Students can create graphs of functions by entering formulas. When it comes to functions the site is like having a graphing calculator on your computer.
Aplus Math A great site for interactive review of basic Math skills. You can even try online worksheets to review.

About Math Worksheets A wealth of worksheets to practice Algebra at home...many include solutions.
The Math Forum at Drexel An in depth collection of resources, puzzles, problems, prodcts, and a forum all designed to help a student stuck on a Math topic. A great resource.
