MARCH 28, 2008
NOTE TO PARENTS: For a copy of the prom breakfast committee meeting minutes from 3/26 or any previous meeting, please email me at pbukowski@aacps.org
This was a very productive meeting. We urge any interested parents to attend any or all of the final four meetings: April 9, April 28, May 7, May 14. All in the cafeteria from 6:30-8:00 pm. However, attending meetings is not a prerequisite to jumping on board the volunteer train for May 16th (and early-early May 17th). However, as stated, it would definitely help with planning and utilizing all eager hands, if you contact us prior to the prom to let us know of your intent to help.
~Finally, we'd like someone to step up to the plate to chair the Clean-Up Sub Committee.
Perk: NO PREPLANNING! Also, as we draw closer to the prom, it's time to check your calendars for commitments for the following: Picking up food from vendors, Manning a food station (can be done in shifts), Helping with the food prep in the kitchen, Helping with the decorations the afternoon of the prom, Clean-Up. Although everyone pitches in to clean-up, you may want to show up specifically for that activity.
Questions or concerns? Contact Kathy Powell ksceeteach@aol.com or Pam Bukowski pbukowski@aacps.org

1) Just a gentle reminder that "tempus fugit" faster than we know! If you are thinking about sending in a gift/donation in the name of your senior ($50 minimum) or simply a donation, now is the time to do it. This will allow us a better opportunity to assess our finances and spend them in a prudent manner.
2) Volunteers are needed to pick up donated items at the vendors listed below on May 16th as well as manning food prep and food stations. In addition, a volunteer is needed to pick up the chocolate fountain and man its operation as well. If interested, please contact Susie Levine at 410-849-2973.
