Over the next few weeks your child will be enjoying stories related to our fourth reading theme: Family Times. Some selections they may be reading are: Brothers and Sisters, Jalapeno Bagels, Carousel, Thunder Cake, Ribsy, Socks, Carnaval, and Solo Girl. The comprehension skills the class will be concentrating on are: making generalizations, following directions, making judgements, and sequence of events. Our language focus will be on: to be verbs, present verbs, and past verbs. The children will also be working on biographies.
MATH
The next few weeks we will be concentrating on the following areas in math: measurement, fractions, probablity,multiplication, and division.
