REMEMBER: Chap. 1 Retakes must be completed by next Tuesday. Students have a required chapter review to complete (see Sept. 22nd below) and must arrange a 30-minute teacher review prior to retaking the test.

All Blocks: Retakes on Chapter 1 assessments must be completed within one week. If the homework completion was met, students may do the assigned review (see Sept. 22 below) and schedule a 30-minute review session with me. An hour will be needed to retake the test. I am available for review during lunch any day, or after school except tomorrow (Wed.). Retakes may be scheduled any day after school. Please send a note with permission for your child to stay after school.

If at least 75% of the chapter homework was completed, then students may correct the chapter quiz and do the review on pgs. 47-50. Arrangements should be made for a 30-minute review with the teacher, to go over this work, and a time set for the test retake. We are not allowed to give retakes during math class. All retakes must be completed within one week.

What a busy week this has been!
1. Thanks to all parents who have read my Grading Policy and Class Expectations, signed, and returned the form with contact information.
2. We completed class "puzzles" today. A few students still need to bring in their personalized puzzle pieces to complete the jigsaw puzzles.
3. Information packets for North Bay went home today. Please return forms asap. We will use math skills as we have a great time learning about the environment of our Chesapeake Bay.

The homework assigned in Blocks 1, 3, and 4 is due on Thursday. Each student has a puzzle piece to "decorate" to represent themselves. We'll put the puzzles together in class on Thursday.
Blocks 3 and 4 have my Grading Policy and Class Expectations to share with parents. Please return the half-sheet with signatures and contact information. We will get to this in Block 1 tomorrow.
