Students were given their Earth science textbooks on Thursday. The books are to be kept at home for the duration of the semester. A contract was sent home with the books and should be returned on or before Monday, Feb. 1st with a parent signature.
Also, Science Journals are expected to be brought to class by Feb. 1st. I have journals for sale in my classroom for 50 cents if students are unable to purchase one at a store.
On Friday, we organized our science binders. Students should have 5 dividers and a three ring binder. It is very important to keep papers organized!

Students have been given an assignment called "Observation of your textbook". It is due Thursday, Feb. 4th. They should use the textbooks to complete this assignment.
I am still waiting for some textbook contracts to be handed in!
