MondayRead:30 Minutes
Spelling Words: water, other, over, corner, letter, driver, winter, never, farmer, father
Challenge Words: climbed, couple, drifted, message, notice
Write one sentence per spelling word.  No sentences required this week for challenge words.  Do not begin sentences with "I".  Homework should be neat and have the correct punctuation and letter formation.  
Math: 8.1 Identify a dollar and its value
TuesdayRead: 30 Minutes
Spelling: Alphabetize your spelling and challenge words together  

Math: 8.2 Dollars and Cents
WednesdayRead: 30 Minutes
Spelling:Write your spelling and challenge words adding one letter at a time.  The result will be a pyramid shape of words.

Math: 8.3 Compare Money Amounts
ThursdayRead: 30 Minutes
Spelling/Vocabulary: Study for quiz

Math: 8.4 Make Change
Vocabulary Words:
climbed-(verb): moved upward or over, across, or through something
couple-(noun): two things that are the same or go together in some way
message-(noun): information sent to someone
drifted -(verb): floated
notice- (verb): pay attention to

The vocabulary words for the week will be assessed for word meaning AND for spelling.  I recommend studying vocabulary words each day.
