The children did an exceptional job with their Saint Reports!

The other classrooms in the primary wing enjoyed our parade of Saints.

Monday we spent time in science lab.  Mrs. Ott gave our class a lesson on our earth and the sun.  The children acted out the movements of the earth around the sun.

Attached is a permission form for our field trip to GMU to see a play.  We are asking for you to return it by November 25th as we must pay for the play in advance.
One chaperone per grade will accompany us.
If you would like to go, please indicate on the form.
We will draw a name from those submitted.

Aidan was STUDENT OF THE WEEK last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Freeman came to visit our class as his special guests. Mr. and Mrs. Freeman talked about Canada as Mrs. Freeman is from Ottawa.  They talked about and showed us Canadian money, their flag, a map, and Royal Canadian Mounted Police.  We also learned how Maple Syrup is made and tasted maple sugar.  We listened as Mr. Freeman read Aidan’s favorite book, a true story about an Iditarod race called Granite, Iditarod Champion.
Each student received coloring pages about Canada, a pencil, and Canadian coins.
