Dear Parents,
The week of Halloween has finally arrived… and the Phillies are only one game from winning the World Series. There are a couple of reminders/ announcements for this week:
• Wednesday, October 29th we will be doing pumpkin activities. Please remember to send in a small pumpkin by this day. Thank you.
• Friday, October 31st is our Halloween Party. Please remember to send your child in with their school uniform in a bag so that they can change after the party. Also, make sure that the costume they are wearing is age appropriate. Thank you!
• Friday, October 31st is also the 8th Grade’s Pumpkin Patch. Each student in the school will get to vote on the best pumpkin design by putting change in a jar for that particular pumpkin. Please send your child in with change for that day. Thank you.
Now on to the homework…
Monday: Spelling: See Monday’s directions on inside front cover of Bus Copybook. Word Sorts are in their Go-Home Folder. Finally, please read to your child and pray with them tonight. Monday Night Reminder: Your child’s library book is due back tomorrow if it has not already been returned.
Tuesday: Spelling: See Tuesday’s directions on inside front cover of Bus Copybook. Handwriting: Letter E in your child’s Bus Copybook. There should be 6 E on each line including my sample Finally, please read to your child and pray with them tonight. Tuesday Night Reminders: We have gym tomorrow so please send your child to school in their gym uniform. Also, please remember to send in one small pumpkin for tomorrows activities.
Wednesday: Spelling: See Wednesday’s directions on inside front cover of Bus Copybook. Reading: School-Home Connection 3 paper. Complete one activity and return tomorrow signed. Please circle the activity chosen. Handwriting: Letter e in your child’s Bus Copybook. There should be 6 e on each line including my sample. Finally, please read to your child and pray with them tonight.
Thursday: Spelling: See Thursday’s directions on inside front cover of Bus Copybook. Religion: Family page in Go-Home folder Finally, please read to your child and pray with them tonight. Thursday Night Reminder: Spanish homework is due by tomorrow if it has not already been turned in. Also, remember to bring your uniform to school tomorrow.
Friday: See you at the convent for Trick – Or – Treating! Have a great weekend. Remember to go to church and to read.
