•Set-Up/Clean-Up - no need to email me. Just show up early or stay after to help move tables and chairs. Don't forget to sign the volunteer log hanging on the PE closet door!
•Referee – on ANY game night.
•Score Table Helpers – on ANY game night.
•Laundry helper – take home the game jerseys on game night, launder and sort, then return early the next week.

5th-8th Grade Basketball Clinic – Coach Troy Washington and his Gar-Field Basketball team are back! They will offer after-school clinics, for Porter 5th-8th graders, at the end of April and beginning of May. All ability and skill levels are welcome to attend! We are in the process of finalizing clinic dates and times and will pass out flyers, in the Porter Pocket, beginning next week. Please check this page again next week for more information.

7th/8th Grade Boys Volleyball - The season will start on Wednesday April 9th. A flyer was sent home in the Porter Pocket last Wednesday. Extra flyers are available in the front office. The Health/Emergency forms must be completed by the parent and submitted before the first day of practice. Practice will be held in the Porter cafeteria/gym every Wednesday from 6:30-7:45 pm through June. Please wear athletic clothes and bring a water bottle. MS Girls Cheerleading – The season recently came to an end. Thank you to dedicated cheerleaders for showing their school spirit at the basketball games! Having cheerleaders at the games was a wonderful addition to the basketball and intramural program. Thank you to the coaching staff for volunteering all of their time and expertise! MS Dance Team - The season culminated with a Talent Show performance and a half-time appearance and the final Friday Basketball game on 3/28. The crowd enjoyed the show and the girls should be proud of their accomplishments! We truly appreciate Coach Mrs. Michelle Helaire for volunteering her valuable time and expertise (even though her Porter child was not even on the Dance Team, rather he was on the basketball team!).
