SCIENCE:
Think GREEN!!!  Do something green for the earth.

ENGLISH: A typed version of yesterday's notes was passed out today in class and has become page one and a half.  Use these notes along with your handwritten notes and the worksheet practice page to review for a quiz on Thursday.  I've also copied the notes below.

to: toward  Ex:  I am going to school tomorrow.
to: before a verb  Ex:  I love to sing.

too: also  Ex: I want to go, too.
too: more than enough  Ex. I ate too much lunch.

two: the number 2  Ex: I have two cats.

there: a location   Ex: Please go over there.
there: an introductory word  Ex.  There are many           interesting students in my class.

their: possessive pronoun  Ex: They lost their dog.

they're: contraction for they are  Ex:  They're going to be late today.

your: possessive pronoun  Ex: Your dog ate my lunch.

you're: contraction for you are  Ex: You're going to be sorry.

its: possessive pronoun  Ex: The dog hurt its foot.

it's: contraction for it is  Ex:  It's going to rain.

Get a good night's sleep tonight and remember to eat breakfast in the morning.

HOMEROOM: Book Orders are due on Wednesday, Sept. 3.  Remember that Monday is a holiday.

"Voice Your Life" collection of pictures and other special items that are flat and will fit in the envelop are due on Friday.

Bring a snack (fruits including real fruit juices), veggies, and/or bottled water and wear a smile.
