Welcome to your Mary Peake PTA website. The PTA is committed to supporting the education and well being of every student. We aim to assist the administration, the teachers, the staff, the parents and especially the children in their daily pursuit of knowledge. Through our Cultural Arts program our children are introduced to art, music, theatre, and motivational speakers. Our evening PTA programs are held in an effort to foster a sense of community within our school, and to incorporate education and information in a fun and comfortable atmosphere. Our meetings are held on the last Monday of each month unless otherwise stated.

Reading Is Fundamental, Inc.prepares and motivates children to read by delivering free books and literacy resources to those children and families who need them most.
Founded in 1966, RIF is the oldest and largest children's and family nonprofit literacy organization in the United States. RIF’s highest priority is reaching underserved children from birth to age 8. Through community volunteers in every state and U.S. territory, RIF provides 4.5 million children with 16 million new, free books and literacy resources each year.
All RIF programs combine three essential elements to foster children's literacy: reading motivation, family and community involvement, and the excitement of choosing free books to keep.
RIF's accomplishments are due in part to the generous support of the U.S. Department of Education, corporations, foundations, community organizations, and thousands of individuals.
Your Mary Peake PTA is proud to sponsor three free RIF books for each student every year.
Sign up to receive alerts from www.donorschoose.org and you will be notified whenever a Mary Peake Center tracher lists a project in need of funding. When you decide to give, you can give as little as $1.00 or as much as the full funding. The choice is yours! Every little bit helps.
Food Lion's "Lion Share" Program
Here is how you can help:
Just register your MVP card at www.foodlion.com On the left sidebar, under the "In the community" heading, click on fundraising. Then click register MVP cards and then select organization. The rest is self-explanatory. The more MVP cards registered, the more money Mary Peake can make. Please remember to ask family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to support Mary Peake by registering their cards too.
