Last week we continued to learn about the letter T and introduced the letter U. On Monday, we read My T Book. The students practiced writing the letter T, glued pictures of t words onto large T’s, and completed a letter T sorting activity. On Tuesday, we read One Tiny Turtle. The students created a turtle craft using triangles, and made My Letter T book. On Wednesday, we read One Teeny Weeny Tadpole. The students completed a letter T sorting activity, and sequenced pictures of the life cycle of a frog. On Thursday, we read Bears in Pairs. The students followed directions to make tea cakes for the tea party. They also made a teddy bear craft, and created placemats for the party. The students had a lot of fun drinking tea and eating tea cakes with their teddy bears. On Friday, we read My U Book. The students practiced writing the letter U, glued pictures of u words onto large U’s and colored pictures of U’s.
