Special Events
-MONDAY, JANUARY 18 school will be closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. day!
-Then school will be closed on TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 19 AND 20TH for staff development and high school teachers to grade exams.
Please don’t forget to send a snack with your child everyday! Some children are repeatedly forgetting their snack. If we have a late opening, we usually have snack in the afternoon. If you would like to donate a large carton of Pepperidge Farm goldfish to you teacher’s classroom, we would really appreciate it! This would help us have snacks for those who forget their snacks!
Requests
-If your child did not know his/her numbers (especially 10 through 20) on her/his last report card you might want to practice these numbers a little every night!
-If your child did not know his/her full name, birthdate, phone number, address, and parent’s names on the last report card, please help him/her learn to say any of the information he/she did not know!!!

-The words on our Word Worm are currently: a, are, because, can, friend, he, love, I, it, is, like, with, my, play, the, see, she, and me.
-We have been learning about Martin Luther King, Jr., and his dream that people of all colors should be treated equally and with respect.
