Science Fair Set Up is 5/16/08. No late projects will be accepted.
Baltimore Trip is 5/28 and 5/29. Details were sent home with the
last report card. Please read these carefully.

Week of May 12, 2008
SCIENCE: Ch.15 Test will be given on Tuesday 5/13. We will begin our unit on
ecology (Ch.27) later this week. Most of the late week activities will be
concerning the Science Fair.
Students should also be making progress on their Science Fair projects. Set
up day is May 16th.
SOCIAL STUDIES: History SOL is on May 14th. We will end the year with a study
of the Civil Rights Movement.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS: Poetry Projects are due on Monday, May 19, 2008.
Math: Topics of Study
Simplifying expressions that contain rational numbers (whole numbers, fractions,
and decimals) and positive exponents, using order of operations, mental math
Indentifying & applying properties of operations w/ real numbers for addition
and multiplication
Identifying & graphing ordered pairs in the four quadrants of a coordinate plane
