All students are REQUIRED to bring the following: pens, pencils, and notebook paper (3-ring binder preferred).
They are reminded to see me before school to make up missed work within three days after being absent. When they return to class, we are involved in that day's work, so it isn't a good time to try to get make-up work.
We have finished the novels A TIME TO KILL and SARNY. We reviewed for the test to be given Mar. 26, 2009. Following the test, we are going to be working for the next two to three weeks on a research project.
NRCC has finished a paper dealing with an aspect of Macbeth. This was submitted to be judged for the 2009 Shakespearian Essay Contest, sponsored by Carilion. They are preparing to write a paper comparing two pieces of literature. This will probably be due the middle of next week.
Remember: Any time you are absent, you must see me before school to get make-up work. You have three days to do this.
