All students are REQUIRED to bring the following pens, pencils, and notebook paper (3-ring binder preferred).
They are reminded to see me before school to make up missed work within three days after being absent.
In tenth grade we are beginning research for an argumentative paper. Students are doing research in computer lab with emphasis on avoiding plagiarism. Each student needs a pack of 3X5 notecards. We hope to have formulated the rough drafts before break.
App. Culture is currently working on the topic of coal mining in the Appalachians. They have had one guest speaker on the subject, they will continue to do research on the computer, as well as watch Maitwan Massacre. We are still sampling App. food such as bread pudding and fried apple pies. We made sugar cookies yesterday.
We have finished our country calendars and are making plans to travel to Wohlfhart Haus to attend lunch/ theatre production of "The Sanders Family Christmas." We are having our annual Country Breakfast for staff and SBO on Tuesday.
