Independent Study?
Did you hear about the recent earthquake (Sept. 14) in Indonesia? It measured 8.4on the Richter Scale! Were you aware that we live in an earthquake zone right here in Giles County? Our largest quake occurred on May 31, 1897 and measured 5.9 on the Richter. Please research additional information on this topic at your leisure!
EARTHQUAKE IN GILES????????
Reports of an earthquake in Eastern Giles County on Jan. 24, 2007 did not register on seismic equipment at VA Tech. SOL TESTING It appears that 6th period class will be testing on Tuesday, May 13 and 4th period class will test on Tuesday, May 20.

HOMEWORK: The unit on weathering and erosion will be introduced on May 6. Please have all assigned questions on pages 161,166, 173, 190, 197 and 203 completed by this date. Also, have vocabulary terms written in your own words.
